1.6 lbs. of steel weights in
the stock of the Ruger
American Rifle Stock
Generation II rifle. Shifting
the center-of-gravity (CG)
rearward counteracts heavy
muzzle-end weights such as
bipods, silencers, etc. and
improves the rifle's balance,
reduces felt recoil and
improves carrying comfort in
the field. The weight and
balance of the rifle can be
tuned by installing weights in
4 oz. increments based on
shooter preferences and needs.

of weight in the stock of a
22" 6.5CM American Gen II
rifle shifts the centre of
gravity 3" rearward. Adding
full 1.6 lbs. of weight in the
stock of a 22" 308 American
Gen II rifle reduces free
recoil velocity 16% resulting
is less felt recoil.

coated steel weights in a
tight-fitting moulded cassette
that lets shooters add up to
1.6 lbs. of total weight to
the butt of the rifle. The
cassette installs securely
into the stock of the American
Rifle Generation II using
